Biography
Fernando Martín Socol was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1967 and has lived in Florida since his early childhood.
During his student years in Miami, Fernando was nourished by the multicultural nature of a city that selflessly welcomes citizens from all corners of the globe.
Upon graduating from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1999 with a JD, Fernando began a distinguished professional career.
His time at prestigious American law firms such as Bratter Krieger and Adorno & Yoss allowed him to hone his skills in the practice of U.S. immigration law, to the point where he now heads his own law firm: Fernando Socol PA.
In addition to being recognized in 1999 as a Florida Rising Stars in Immigration Law honoree, Fernando has spoken numerous times at seminars on doing business in the U.S. in Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and Ecuador.
Attorney Socol’s practice focuses primarily on developing individual strategies for foreign entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals that lead to obtaining the appropriate immigration status for each circumstance, including EB-5 investor visa cases.
Dr. Socol is an active member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
